Long Island-based Sail Away Coffee Co., released their canned nitro cold brew on March 7th at their Next Adventure Launch party at The Nova Sanctuary in Oceanside, NY. The Nitro brews come in three flavors: sweetened, unsweetened and sea salt & caramel featuring local sea salt from Amagansett, NY.
Nitro coffee is cold brewed, put into a keg and is infused with nitrogen gas. Cold brewing helps soften the acidity of the coffee to reduce heartburn or acid reflux discomfort. The nitro foam gives the coffee a smooth, rich and creamy finish without any milk or sugar making it the perfect vegan coffee drink if you are looking for something non-dairy.
