April 21, 2018 is Record Store Day- a day where staff, customers and artists come celebrate the unique culture surrounding independently owned record stores. Contests, special releases and promotions are crafted exclusively for this day. The Record Store Day Official Release List includes a range of artists and diverse styles of music. Here are some highlights for fans and collectors.

There are many record stores on Long Island, but Looney Tunes will have the largest selection and stock on the East Coast for Record Store Day. Over 400 exclusive releases will be coming in just for Record Store Day. Looney Tunes will also have their own special release; the 1972 classic children’s album Free to Be You and Me from will be re-pressed on Brookvale Records. There will also be two free shows, Mike Peters of the Alarm at 1pm and singer/songwriter Jesse Kinch at 3pm. Also enjoy free food, contests and giveaways. Remember no pre-orders or holds are available and all products are first come first serve, so arrive early.
